LONGSANDS
Longsands is a series of ten colour photographic ink-jet print works.
The images were made over an extended period photographing on a beach near where Paul was born. Using a medium format film camera Paul double- and sometimes multi-exposed the negative. The negatives are then scanned to produce composite RGB tiff files and finally output archival ink-jet print works.
The final images are a kind of reconciliation of the physical with the ephemeral
